About Us

The organization was originally established in the state of Florida, where it focused on community outreach, helping families in need, youth support initiatives, food assistance, and community-based programs designed to uplift and strengthen local neighborhoods.

 

After years of serving the community in Florida, Helping Hands made the decision in 2025 to relocate operations to North Carolina in order to continue growing its mission and expanding its impact throughout Western North Carolina.

During the transition, the Florida nonprofit structure was officially dissolved and Helping Hands Multi Center completed the process of becoming fully established and operational in North Carolina as a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

 

Today, Helping Hands Multi Center is based in Bakersville, North Carolina and continues working to strengthen families, support youth, assist women and children in crisis, and provide practical community resources for those in need.

Our mission is simple: to create real opportunities, restore hope, and help communities thrive.

 

While we currently operate several active programs, Helping Hands Multi Center plans to continue expanding into additional community services, youth development programs, family support initiatives, and educational opportunities in the future.

We believe strong communities are built when people come together to serve one another.
